Dr. Harris received his Medical Doctorate from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.

He completed his Internship and Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center in New York, New York. He completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Harris was then on faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Harris is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for his Boston sports teams.
